Andover Townsman Letter: Finegold helped writer get back on feet

I know that this has been a tough time for many people trying to find quality employment, but I had never personally experienced this until a few months ago. This past spring, I had been searching for a job. After several weeks of frustration, I reached out to Sen. Barry Finegold’s office to see if there was anything that they could do to help me get back on my feet. What a tremendous decision this turned out to be.

I have always known that Finegold works hard for our district every opportunity he gets. What I did not know, until I reached out to him, was how helpful he can be to me as an individual. After speaking with Finegold and his amazing staff as well, I felt hopeful that I’d be able to cut through the red tape and move on with my job search. I’m happy to say I found a job in April and am back on my feet.

Finegold truly cares about each and every person that he represents. I have always heard him speak about how there is no problem too big or too small for his office to take care of, but now I can speak from my own experience that this is true. I am going to vote to reelection him as State Senator because now I know with certainty that Finegold and his staff will always be responsive to our needs.
